Where do I find government grants?
Government grants are offered by all agencies within the government at every level. Therefore there are hundreds, if not thousands of grant opportunities released every month. The best way to find government grants that benefit your business is to use a service that seeks out and consolidates grant opportunities on your behalf. This saves you countless hours tracking down the various opportunities across the various government agencies.
How much money can I get from government grants?
Every agency is different, but depending on the grant program you’re considering and the agency that is offering the grant, you can stand to receive anywhere from $500 to $5,000,000.
Do government grants have to be repaid?
A grant is money earmarked by the government to be used in a particular way. By writing a grant, you’ll be telling the government exactly what you plan to do with the grant money. That purpose should be inline with the criteria of the grant. Once approved, so long as you meet the criteria of the grant, you’ll not be expected to ever repay the funds. In the vast majority of cases, these criteria are broad and applicable across many areas.
How long does it take to get money once I’m awarded a grant?
Once awarded a grant, it might take as little as a week to see a check or wire with your grant money, but in other cases, the funds will be awarded at a date arranged by the agency.
Can I get more than one government grant for my business?
You can apply for as many government grants as you like in any number of agencies. There is no limit on the number of grants you can write for your business.
Will my credit affect anything when applying for grants?

A government grant is completely separate from a loan. Your personal or even business credit can be terrible, yet you still can qualify for any number of grants. Your credit is simply not a factor when writing grants.
How do I apply for government grants?
To apply for government grants, you’ll need to “write a grant” meaning you’ll need to submit a formal letter called a grant proposal. In this proposal, you’ll include your ability and ways that you or your business meet the criteria laid out by the funding agency and give details about why your business deserves to win the grant money. There are many advanced software programs that can help you in this process.
Will you write my grant application for me?
No, you will be responsible for writing your own grant proposal, however, our partners do provide any number of resources designed to make the grant writing process simpler and a complete success. Don’t let this be a factor in your decision to seek out grants – writing the grant proposal is not as intimidating as it seems.
